School

Hey Sisters & Brother!

I'm wondering if any of you have heard anything about The California School of Herbal Studies, or Columbine's School of Botanical Studies as far as Herbal Education. I am seriously considering applying to go back to school for herbs come spring and am curious as to if you have heard anything good or bad about either program...or if you have any better suggestions!

Love to you all. I miss you all so much and think of you often (near daily).

  1. great!
    this spring?
    or next?

i think l.paw was lookin' at the california school. i really like the community herbalist program at sacred plant traditions in virginia, though it's not full-time, and you'd probably want to start in the second year.

    miss you, too!

  4. i visited cshs last august and it was extremely beautiful. i got to sit in on a class - i can't remember the teacher's name, but we were learning about the heart and circulatory system and it felt really cool - substantive scientific info and plant-feelings info all together. i liked that they have many teachers and perspectives and it seems like they have a lot of work-trade options. cons for me were mostly that it's super rural compared to what i'm used to and i don't know if i'm ready to feel that isolated. housing apart from work-trade at the school seemed expensive too. but overall i got a good feeling about it and may go next year. if you have any other questions let me know <3
